100 Women Who Care - Evanston

  • Then you are ready to set up your online payments with Grapevine, our online payment platform.

SET UP YOUR GRAPEVINE ACCOUNT

(Your donation today will go to our upcoming meeting's awardee.)

1. Click here to set up your payment. You will be directed to Grapevine, our online payment platform. 


If you are having trouble, email us at 100womenevanston@gmail.com.

2. Click Donate Now or Join & Donate.  

3. Choose a sign up option:

  • Google account

  • LinkedIn account

  • Email address 

4.  Tell the group a little bit about yourself. Enter your name and your motivation for joining. The rest is optional. Click Save & Continue.

You can skip Bookmark Non-Profits.

5. You will be redirected to the 100 Women Who Care - Evanston Grapevine account. Click Donate. This will take you to the 2026 Donation Cycle.

6. This page shows how much you will donate ($100) and how often (quarterly*). Click Join and Donate.


*There is a frequency option of At Once. We encourage you to select quarterly donations because it makes it easier to manage how much money is allocated for each quarter.

First Donation

Your first donation is today. You will be charged once a quarter.


Next Donation

You will be charged for your second donation when the next cycle starts. This is to ensure all active subscriptions are synced to the group’s meeting schedule.

Grapevine Community Support

Select your tip amount. 15% is the DEFAULT amount! You can adjust this!

8. Processing Fees

Grapevine doesn’t charge any platform fees, but Stripe (their payment processor) charges as follows:

  • 2.2% + $0.30 credit and debit card fee 

  • 3.5% + $0.30 for AmEx

  • 0.8% up to $5 for bank transfers through Plaid. 

  • These will show up on the “payment processing” line item and are separate from the tip.

Note:

We have disabled the option to take these fees out of the $100 to ensure that our award recipients get the full $100 from each member.

  • First window is for credit card or Apple Pay

  • Click "Change payment method" to pay with a bank account or to add a new card.


BANK ACCOUNT 

Grapevine uses Plaid to link your bank account. It is secure and private- Encryption helps protect your personal data and your credentials will never be made accessible to Grapevine. 

11. You should now see a total that includes your donation, the processing fees, and the tip amount you have chosen.  If this looks good,click Complete Donation. 


If you are set up for recurring donations, you will not need to revisit the site unless your credit card expires, you want to stop payments, or you need to update your email address.

Move on to Step 3: NOMINATING AN ORGANIZATION


Go to the Nominate an Organization tab or click here. 

You can nominate an organization until 2 weeks before a meeting.


HOW WE USE GRAPEVINE

  1. Grapevine will cut checks to the charities on our behalf as we direct them.   

  2. For tax purposes, you will receive a receipt from 501(c)(3) Social Good Fund.  The charity will not receive any information about you. 

  3. Benefits of donating through Grapevine...

  • not having to remember to bring a check to the meeting

  • credit card points (if you use a credit card)

  • staying off of all the different organizations' mailing lists

  • we won't have to hound you to make the payment via check!
